The Unique Claims And Conduct Of Jesus

When questioned by the chief priests and Pharisees as  to why they had not seized Jesus and  returned with Him, "The officers answered, Never has a man spoken the way this man speaks." (John 7:46). And, after witnessing one of Jesus' miracles, the people said "We have never seen anything like this" (Mark 2:12). The things Jesus said and did were one of a kind. No one before or since has made the claims that Jesus made and backed them up with actions. Consider some of these unique claims and conduct:

Equality with God, John 5:17-18; 14:9

Sinlessness, John 8:46

Eternal, John 8:58

Miracles, Matthew 11:26; John 5:36; 10:25

Forgive sins, Mark 2:5

Accepted worship, Matthew 8:2

Come to Father by Him, John 14:6

Eternal life through Him, John 3:15

He said that he would arise from the dead, Matthew 12:38-40; 16:21; 17:9, 23; 20:19; 26:32; Mark 8:31; 9:9, 31; 10:34; 14:28; Luke 9:22; 18:33; John 2:18-22; 10:18 and that this would be the sign that would validate all his words and deeds, Matthew 12:38-40; John 2:18-22

Was Jesus a LIAR when he made the above claims? No? Then...

Was Jesus a FOOL for speaking and acting as He did? Again no? Then...

Jesus was DEITY! and I should listen carefully to these words--"I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me" (John 14:6)--and bring my life into harmony with His will.
